My Painting

I have done way better but I've never painted anything this complicated without having a thumb-note sized picture to look at. It's the first painting that is actually an original vision of mine. But I'm taking it to competition. I doubt it will sell but everyone seems to like it!

I do like it, it's nice. Just maybe try different things with designs instead of doing.. food. When I think of painting that's pretty much the first thing I think of. But it is a really nice painting :)

I've only ever painted...food. Lol. It wasn't started for the food part. I was mainly wanting to paint the shattered bottle and glass but my art teacher (Whom I thank God for or else this painting would look like 12 different painters with 12 different styles painted it) said I needed to add more to it. Like. cheese. *sigh* xD

I do really like how you decided to do a shattered bottle and broken pieces of glasses around it :)

funny usually food painting like this have the glasses still in tact , you put a unique twist on it when there broken. I've never seen this, great job :)

The perspective of the bottle upper part is off. Apart from that, the overall execution is great. I like it, plain and simple. Great job!

And yeah, the bottle is leaning a bit as well. I pointed that out and was told that "It could be from the table leaning. Everything else is shattered, maybe a broke table did it!"

I'm just hoping it will do well in competition!!!

This painting goes to competition tomorrow! I'm so nervous. Since my Banana Avocado cupcakes scared the judges yesterday (But locals want to buy them) I'm really hoping this might sell...

Welll it was judged yesterday. I dunno what a red ribbon means in the art section (I got a first place ribbon in cooking but the colors are different for both). But it probably is a sucky one. lol
