Ok so I'm going to the doctors Thursday and I'm really scared that they'll see my cuts when they do my pulse or blood pressure, what can I do to avoid that? If they do see then what would happen if I just tell the truth? Oh btw my cuts are only on my left arm and only 3 are really noticable... all answers are apreciated

Well if your worried about your parents finding out just ask them to wait outside for you. As for the doctor try not to worry, you dont have to say anything at all. Whatever happens between you and the doc is strictly private and confidential, no one else will be told unless you are a danger to yourself or others.
As you said the cuts are only on your left arm then maybe just get them to do it in your right arm
However if they do see them and they ask questions and you do decide to talk about it, try and be as honest and open as you can. Maybe the doc will refer you to someone to help you out.
Whatever happens you have nothing to worry about, I can assure you.
Just try not to hurt yourself buddy, have you ever heard of distraction techniques?
Oh, btw, sending ya a missive man hug

Thanks and I'm thinking if they do see it I'll just own up to them, if they don't then they don't and my parents will definately be out of the room for this cause it involves guy problems haha. This has definately help me stop on the plus side.

Ah, I had that problem the first time I went to the doctor (My mother was forcing me to. It was punishment, in her eyes, to make me go). My cuts are only on my left arm as well. This is what I did:
The people usually take your pulse and blood pressure on the RIGHT SIDE. When you go into the room stand with your right side facing the counter or nurse.

Cutting is considered suicidal by clinical standards. Thus, making him a danger to himself.
The doctor will most likely refer you to a mental health specialist. It's happened to three people I know, and I've even read a thread here on VT about it. Nothing drastic will happen, so don't worry. If you go in for the referred appointment, they will just give you a psych evaluation and diagnose anything. After you get the psych evaluation, they will most likely offer for you to attend therapy. They MIGHT recommend meds, but that's always optional.
My opinion that doesn't matter: If you get on anti depressants, don't take Zoloft. That shit is wicked crazy. It's screwed up my mom and messed with me too.

Atleast your parents wont be in the room with you, and see if you can get him to do it on your right arm instead.
And I think what you said is right if they do notice your cuts and your honest with them they can get you some help with it.
Good luck

I have to go to the doctors all the time, and having heart and blood pressure problems they check this every time. I only cut on one arm so I just make sure they check my pulse or blood pressure on the arm that I don't self harm on :)
