It is going to itch no matter what the first 2 or 3 times, it did for me but now after the 4th time ive done it i feel nothing. Try to apply some lotion or vasaline after you shave (after you disenfect the area) because shaving cream dries your skin. Do it when you have like a break from school so it gives you time for the itchy to go away because the itchy feeling at school is the worst.

And to answer the question question, im 16 and it takes like a month or more for it to get back to how it was before i shaved, but it varies from person to person

For it to start growing back? It take about a week for noticeable stubs. BUT for longer hairs it will take months.


P.S. - I shave mine once a week to remove the stubs.

I've never shaved 'down there' before. I've heard though that it can itch like crazy when it first starts to grow back. That's why most guys I know just trim their pubes a bit.

I shaved mine a few weeks ago and it's grown back decently. Got a nice short length and it's pretty tidy. I prefer it to be super short so I usually keep it trimmed way down or shave it completely off and let it grow back - thats what I did this time cause I let it grow out, but I thought it got messy haha!

I have to shave about twice a week. at 14 when I started shaving my pubes once a week used to be enough.

I don't shave my pubes, but mine are SUPER long if I don't do anything with them, so I trim them. It usually takes a couple weeks for mine to get long again, so prolly a little longer than that for you

When I was 14 I didnt have enough to really worry about shaving them; but best advice is probably just to trim them, thats what I do now. Unless you really like to be totally smooth but I have seen people say it itched a lot and you can cut your self etc.

I've never shaved, but I do keep it trim. The first time I trimmed, it came back in about a month. Hey man, it's your body, not anyone else's, and not your parents' (important!).

It does itch pretty bad for a while when it grows out, but I think it's worth it.

I personally don't like the look of mine shaved, because theres always a bit of stubble. It should take days to grow a bit more stubble, then a couple of weeks to grow a small bush then a month or so for full bush.
