Just to let all you out there who suffer form this dreaded eating disorder. THERE IS HOPE
I was in hospital with this girl. She had a bmi of 12 and was weeks away from dying because her body was so starved.
This was last September. Now the beginning of febraury i saw her in lakeside. She's smiling and a healthy size 10. She's now got a boyfriend and goes out clubbing and loving life. She's doing well in college. And she said to me she will never look back in the old life she had with eating.
Her mood is up and she said she could shoot her self at the beginning of it if she knew what she was doing.
I'm so happy she's free from all of this.
And if some one as extreme as her can recover...then so can we <3

This gives me a lot of hope too :) I know the feeling that i'll never be in control of food and eating ever again; but this just proves this feeling wrong.
Thanks Katie.

I love stories like this. Even in the most hopeless situations, there is always hope. I thought that I'd either die with my eating disorder one day, or have to live with the counting calories, and weighing. I knew some people were able to be free from it, but as far as myself went, getting over seemed impossible. I still lose hope. However this story lifted my spirits for the moment. Heck! If she was able to get better weeks from dying, then maybe it's possible. Just to know the possibility that one day I won't care or worry about anything, to be finally free! The thought is exhilarating. It brings tears to my eyes. Thank you for this story.

im glad. When i was in hospital i thought i was going to watch her die. She just refused to eat, but now she is free and eats chocolate and is completely free. If she can do it, so can we.
She just had to work for it.....
