Is there any point keeping expired warnings in the Warnings section in your User CP ?

If I'm correct, yes. I've collected two infractions while on VT. Both are gone.

^^are you sure it wasn't UNOFFICAL warnings.
Infractions show up on your profile and are perminant, even if they're expiered or reversed

The option to hard delete warnings/infractions exists. Are you just saying it's VT policy to not physically remove them?

At any rate, removing unjust/accidental infractions entirely is a fine solution.

No what I am talking about is something diffrent.
For example I received an infraction months ago and it expired a month ago. In the list, it says Expired.
What I am saying is, what is the point of keeping the expired infractions there ? If they are expired, it wouldn't be a problem if they are removed from that list

No, its kept there for our records, we give punishments based on what punishments have been given before. I.e. Kathy officially warns you for spamming, but you keep doing it. Another mod may come along and look at your profile and se you've had a warning, its now time to raise it to an infraction.

So warnings don't really expire?

warnings arent worth points so why would they need to expire?

Because A) They say they do and B) A warning from six moths ago isn't going to be remembered well, and shouldn't be seen as a reason to infract this time.

i meant need to be deleted
and it shows your behaviour history
if you had a history of trolling
and had infractions and warnings for it from last year
and started that behaviour again then wed know how to handle it from how it was handled previously
