The Oscars are soon and I'm just wondering who you think deserves best picture? I would personally go with The King's Speech...

I don't know because I have only watched The Social Network and Inception so far, and I think any of those deserves it. I really want to see The King's Speech and Black Swan though...

Burlesque isn't up for a Oscar, mainly because anything with CHER in it is shite. As talented as Aaron Sorkin is, it will be "the King's Speech" for best picture this year

I would give director to Darren Aronofsky for Black Swan or David Fincher for Social Network.
And for best picture, probably The Social Network.
And Aaron Sorkin will definitely get the adapted screenplay oscar

Since I don't know these ones, I'm just rooting for whoever was involved in The King's Speech. I haven't even seen it yet, but I was really, REALLY mad that Helena didn't win the golden globe. And now she's nominated again for an Oscar. I have hope but I have a feeling she's not going to get it because of the results of the Golden Globes :(
I mean, I can kinda guess because everything's the same as the Golden Globes. Same people for the same things.

It's been The Kings Speech vs. The Social Network for quite a while. It looked like The Social Network was going to win until the PGA awards and The Kings Speech gained momentum. Last night at the SAG awards, The King's Speech won best ensemble (basically best picture) and it now looks like it will win.

Justin Bieber isn't up for an OSCAR, mainly because there isn't a category for twats, although most of the winners fall under this category.
Not true Cher has been in quite a few good succesful movies and won an oscar in 1987 for "moonstruck
She's also about 60 and well past her best

Bieber is a talentless, arrogant twat who has still to hit puberty. Whoever gave the neg rep, I salute you.

What about Betty White? It's also my personal opinion that Cher is not particuarlarly talented or special. I notice you've not responded to my comments about Bieber so I know I'm right on the one, I've never heard a Cher song I've liked, nor a Cher film which I've enjoyed.
