I just got a new computer, so I had to reinstall my Sims 2 and Expansions, well I installed them on my own account, but I can only access saved games from the Admin account. Anyway to fix this?

Possibilities:

-You have a virus ( I also experience the same thing )
-You choose an option that said "Only allow this user to access folders, etc" but I dont remember Sims having such an option

I don't have solution but don't be shy, click me to get more help. (www.google.com)

Sims installs in two directories, the Programme Files folder which you can access from any account, and oddly enough, The Sims also has a section in your Documents. The reason you can't access your saved games but can still play it (if I read that correctly) is because the saved games, lots, neighbourhoods, sims, etc, are stored in the documents, not the Programme Files. Go into your Documents, into EA Games and the original Sims game folder, then find a folder called "Neighbourhoods" and all your neighbourhoods will have folders (they're not labeled by their actual names, but are listed in the order you see them at the choosing screen I believe) with all the data. Basically, c/p the info into the similar folder created on the account you want to play these games on. I'd recommend just taking the full neighbourhood folders and rewriting them because the files aren't named in any way I can tell that you'd be able to pick and choose.

That SHOULD solve the problem if I'm correct.
