Hi I have hair growing on my penis and I really want to shave it is there any special way I should do that? Could I just cut the hair off with a scissors? If not what kind of razor should I use? Also I don't want my family to know so when should I shave?

Don't use scissors. If you can, use some electric trimmer when no one is home, then shave it off in the shower. Otherwise, cut it as close as possible with scissors and then shave it (this doesn't work as well.)

If you do use scissors get some blunt ended ones like little kids use for cutting paper. Then cut as close as possible but be careful not to nick yourself as the wound from scissors could be quite large and there is a plentiful, on-demand blood supply down there.
Then, using lots of proper shaving cream, or soft soap, and a new razor shave it off in the shower which will also wash away the evidence. if you are quite hairy then you may need to re-soap more than once. Some penises have little lumps and raised areas and if you are like this it is likely that you will cut yourself but it should stop fairly quickly. If you shave your balls as well then make sure the shower is hot and everything is fully descended so that you can press your balls against the scrotum skin to have a surface to shave against. This will also reduce the chance of nicking yourself. Then when it is all done, prepare yourself for the interesting itching sensation that develops over the next few days. This will tell you whether it is worth it, or if trimming will do in the future. good luck and be careful.

How long will it take for the hair to grow back?

As everyone says, small scissors that arent going to catch your skin.

It varies per person just like the speed of hair on your head, everyone grows differently I'd say a good few weeks.

I just use a normal razor for that job, cut against the flow. The way I do it is sitting on the edge of the bath with my feet in the water.

Only problem with shaving with a razor is it can get very itchy.

Well I guess we're all different. I just lather up with saving cream and shave same as if it was my face. Itching has never been a problem. I only shave my shaft and sack, not the whole area.

i usually only trim then shaving it all off. like to make it not thick. and also make sure to trim every couple days to prevent the itch. but if the itch does come i usually put some aloe vera on there to make it go away :)
