Leg Hair

My legs have got hairy at the moment and it's embarrassing around other people my age (both male and female). And i'm wondering if i should shave my legs or not?:what:

First of all I would worry less about what other people might think about your legs.
2. All the girls are probably shaving anyway.
3. The guys are mostly going to catch up with you in the next year or so.
4. I think shaved legs on a teen guy would look a bit odd unless you were a swimmer or cyclist

hey dude don't worry about it. Trust me, I know REALLY well what you are going through. I generally was not an early bloomer except for body hair... I got mine pretty early, I was the first guy in my class to get noticeable leg hair, I was only 12 years old/7th grade. I was a little embarrassed by it and shaved it at first when it was first growing in. But yeah, by the time I was 14 I already had legs that were as hairy as an adult and now I have monkey legs. But really, there is nothing to be ashamed of. If anybody comments about it they are just jealous that you are developing before they are. And even though whatever you do with your hair is your decision, people generally aren't as divided on their opinions of leg hair like they are chest hair. On guys leg hair is kind of like pit hair, its one of those places that you just expect a dude to have at least some hair, and very few girls have issues with hairy legs IMO.

Yea don't sweat over it. It's part of becoming a man and I think if you shave your legs it takes a bit of your man hood away. Trust me I've thought about shaving mine but I just left them alone.

its a part of puberty. u grow hair basically everywhere lol. i dont shave my legs just my upper thighs.

well its up to u (i dont have hairy legs) if u feel comfortable without it ... shave it... there is nothing wrong with it... and having no hair in the leg is kinda better looking than hairy.. just my opinion thou :D

I know what you mean. I kinda want to shave my leg hairs off but my mom or sister would start criticizing me. I could care less about what people in my school think. It's your choice though.

Shaving your legs is more female but men do it to so ya and I have a LOT of leg hair :)

I wouldn't shave them but if you really are embarrassed then try trimming them. Unless you feel comfortable shaving them then you can shave them

What do you mean embarrassing around them? Do they make comments? Because if not, it's all in your head. Society sees hairy legs as a good thing so leave them be.

Where I live heaps of guys have actually began to shave their legs, it's like coming in as a things guys do these days I guess. So i'd say go for it, I don't see why people would criticise you because you shaved your legs.

Im going to say no, a guy is suppose to have hairy legs and shaving it is unatural. I think it would be worse if you shaved them.

I've had hairy legs since i was 8 and never thought of shaving. It's perfectly normal.

I got hair on my legs at age 12. Don't shave It that was a bad risky on of mine
