I'll be going soon for a physical, (not OB/GYN) but the doctors office called and told my mom they are going to be doing a developmental exam, so I should wear underclothing. :what:
Okay... what is a developmental exam? what are they going to do? Will they be looking "down there" and will they be able to tell that I masturbate? :what:
Someone, please explain (or PM me) because I'm confused and scared

I get those. For me, it's sort of just like a regular physical. They will look "down there", but for a few seconds at the most. They most likely will not be able to tell if you masturbate. You can wear underclothing, I choose to, just like a cami, so you don't have to completely strip.

They basically just check how your body is developing through your life. They will check down there but not for a long time. They probably wont be able to tell if you masturbate but they will ask if you have been sexually active, and answer yes or no. If you dont feel comfortable with your mom or dad there you can tell the doctor and they will go outside untill the genital exam (for liabillity for sexual abuse)

They may have you pee in a cup. If this happens, you'll probably be in a bathroom. Just sit on the toilet, wipe before peeing, and put the cup between your legs.
Not every doctor does this though.

I think the dr will know if your hymen is gone but that's really it. And I'm not to sure if the doc would tell your mother unless she inquires.

They would have to put a finger in you to check your hymen andd they wont do that

Even if they do find out you masturbate some how, what the fuck has it got to do with them lol. I very much doubt they will approach your parents and say "Well we suspect that your daughter has been masturbating". Just relax lol.
And good luck.

So I am getting a physical next week 2 n your question got me all concerned. My issue is that I have been shaving for the last few months and I feel weird about my doctor seeing me like that. I would rather him see me like I don't care about that kind of thing. I don't really have enough time to grow it back. Is this just a weird thing to worry about? Will the doctor think i'm sexually active?

Don't worry about it! The doctor will have seen many naked bodies before yours, so the fact you shave isn't going to change much. Isn't the doctor likely to ask you if you're sexually active anyway? If not, then that's nothing to worry about either. Shaving does not equal sexually active - the same as not shaving doesn't equal not sexually active.

That's part of what I'm worried about. I had sex for the first time since I last saw my doctor and I dont want to tell him I did it. One of the boys I did it with is kinda older and I don't want to get in any trouble for it. So I'm kinda hoping he doesnt ask.

You can say no to him. He cannot tell your mom anyway , hes confidential with patients. If you make love it breaks hymen but so can gymnastics and other things so he can not tell for sure so your safe for sure :)
My doctor saw my wet undies from making out with a boyfriend and he didnt say anything so nothing is weird to them
