View Full Version : Wearing a t-shirt tomorrow.

Even though I've posted about not being able to stop, I realized what an accomplishment it was that I have stopped cutting on my arms. Tomorrow when I go out to a coffee shop to see a friend, I am going to wear just a t-shirt and not wimp out. I'm ready for that.

Thing is, I scar easily. They don't fade fast and sometimes don't fade at all on me. So I think I should start being able to wear t-shirts confidently. Wearing them at school still scares me but since the summer will eventually come, I am going to start small.

Maybe once I really gather up the will power, I can stop. If I can do this much, I can hopefully stop someday.

Hun, it doesnt matter whats on the outside, its whats on the inside that counts. When you reach to get something and your scars show, show em' proud! Dont be ashamed, they are a part of you that you cant just change. Keep it up hun.

That's great! I'm sorry you scar easily but I'm super happy you're able to face the sunlight and wear a t-shirt now (:

yay, im glad you feel you can do this now, ive got pretty recent scars on my arms, pretty bad ones too but i wear a t-shirt around school, no-one has said anything to me strangely enough but still. lol

well done and i hope your very proud of yourself cause everyone here is proud of you!! :D x
