Oh, so what? Just because I'm an atheist now means that I suddenly chose to be gay? But if I was a Christian then I would be forced? What the hell? Do you know anything? Or are you just an ignorant little idiot? I'm not sure what's wrong with you! Sure, you could get that misconception if you were clueless and were a homophobic, but I didn't think that you could think that! I understand that you are a Christian and that you believe that everyone is straight, but I did not choose this! I didn't want to be gay! I doubt anyone did when they first found out! Sure, now I'm glad that I am, but that's only because of my personal bias! I didn't want to be this!

I'm not sure what to do with you anymore. You accept me, but you don't understand me. You don't even try to understand me. I don't know what to do. You could at least pretend that I didn't choose this.

Well you can't really change who you are. This person should be able to accept you for who you are. Your sexuality is something that you are stuck with, and they should be able to understand that. I'm happy and proud that you were able to let this off your chest, it's always better to just let it all out sometimes.

They need to know that you are gay and that you are who you are. Explain to them why you dont date other girls but only boys.

Dont assume that all Christians think that way, I'm Christian and gay and dont find there to be any conflict in my own mind. There are ignorant and bigotted people in all faiths and ignorant and bigotted people with no faith. The Christian message should be clear, its this "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, as I have loved you".

And being gay is not a choice, its just how we are.
