A law against anyone watching porn is both unenforceable and absurd.

Yeah, because watching porn definitely makes you a pedophile and rapist.

Seriously, I don't see anything with porn. People say it corrupts children's minds and it's degrading towards women. Women chose to be in it and most that do it like their job. You think that's corrupting your children? What about some of the lies your taught in school? Plus, your kids are already saying curse words by fifth grade behind your back, so trying to hide something from them will only make them want it more.

Brool story co. Laws on viewing pornography are like laws on jaywalking: technically a crime, but almost never enforced.

I don't know why people like it. It's disgusting in my opinion. Shouldn't be illegal, but I still think it's DISGUSTING

I have a friend who accidentally found porn when she was 8, watched it for days with out her mother knowing.

She doesn't have an abnormal sex drive, and hasn't committed rape, or murder. She goes to church every sunday and is in a girls choir.

I have another friend who was brought up in a strictly religious and suppressing household where the bible was shoved down his throat.

He commit suicide.

/thread i do believe

YES! I was watching porn since I was nine. But hey, there are people who have sex when 12.

I like porn. Every bit of it. It's very good and educative. One thing I hate is softporn. Good porn is with tools.

The fact that it's illegal is, as someone else has pointed out, actually rather irrelevant... Since it isn't enforcible, and has no moral backing (other than archaic) to justify such a law.

Humans are sexual beings; there's no escaping that. To restrict something so instinctive, and so enjoyable, is absurd - because it holds no negative value for anyone.

You know what? The gov knows that people under the age of 18, watch porn. Yet, they don't care so it doesn't matter much..

No and you may be wondering how I know it's gross if I haven't seen it.

That's a very silly and immature attitude Jessica.

This made me laugh. My cousin children, who are around 4 and 7 starting saying really bad words(like whore, son of a bitch(even though they are brothers). But when I entered, they starting saying Donkey, Monkey, Stupid.

That day was somewhat shocking to me. But I wonder what else they are hiding.

Good luck taking porn away from me. Seeing as I masturbate pretty much every day, I watch porn every day as well and if someone tried to tell me to stop they won't get very far at all. I believe that the legal age should be lowered to, say, 14 (the idea of restrictions is absurd to me anyway). If someone wants to watch people fuck, they will at the end of the day so there's no point wasting time and effort trying to stop them when you could educate them instead. I also believe that porn should be used with sex education to show the physical side of sex accompanied with moral shit as well, as long as it isn't too hardcore. If people knew what to do, how to properly put on condoms on a real penis and not a cucumber and how to have good sex then I think we'd see a reduction in teen pregnancies and STD's. What better way is there to teach about sex than to show teens real, loving sex between two people (as long as you don't just go on Redtube or something and click on a random video)? I'd suggest using specially made demonstrations between real life couples having realistic, equal sex so people know that sex is an equal thing and should be equally enjoyed by all participants. Anyway, porn is good, fucking leave it alone.

EDIT: Sorry about the lack of paragraphs, I'll add them later.

I dont watch it, but I have watched it before. Does nothing for me.

I think it should be legal, its up to the people with porn footage to keep it away from children.

I don't watch it, but that doesn't mean the people that do watch it are wrong. Its a personal choice. Its simply not appealing to some.

It shouldn't be illegal. Its someone's choice if they want to watch it or not. And anyway, it doesn't really matter as its not enforced anyway, like many people have already said.
I will admit i've seen some, but I don't really think its anything special. Its usually just fake people making fake noises.

People would still watch it if it was illegal, anyway, so..

-Alpha 2 we have a boy who is currently viewing porn.
-Roger that Delta 2-4, search and destroy
*Alpha 2 goes in, grabs and leaves the area*
-The boy is charged 20 years in Federal Jail as a punishment

Makes no sense at all

I voted, so i better post.

Yeah i watch it.
Each to their own, some people watch it, others dont.. no big deal

Porn is like everything else out there, just not seen as a good thing for younger people.. the problem is that close minded people get into the position where they chose the laws :(

What horrible spellings. Anyway, it's ridiculous to make porn illegal because once you ban something the amount of people who will want to "rebel" and watch it even more (due to it becoming illegal) will increase.

Like 99.9% of underage guys watch porn (can't really say the same for girls though - I personally do not watch it). They're not all potential sex offenders.
