I know you're supposed to be a "teenager" to come on here and adults can't join, that's obvious. But...What about those who joined as teenagers and turn of legal age? What happens to them? Do they get banned or what?
I'm sorry if there is already a thread like this but my search skills epicly failed today.

They can stay. As you can see two of our three admins are over the legal age :P

Yeah they stay. But it raises an important question - at GT, lots of adults have stayed on and now the management is pretty much completely adult and alienates the teens a fair bit. Should ensure with people like Ronnie that it remains to a degree, a teen site with mostly teen management.

For the most part it is. I'm one of the older regular mods.
Most of 'em are 15 or younger :P
but yeha, it would be stupid to ban people once they turn 20.

I also vouch for it, joining later in my teen years. Man, it would suck if I only had one and a half years here then I was gone :O
I feel so old now. It's a weird feeling. At least I'm not one of the veterans yet :P

You're only not a vet because you haven't been on here long enough :P

What happens if this place is around like 10 years from now and you have like 30 year old members?

I actually think that once people turn like 20 they shouldnt be aloud on becuase even though alot of people miss them dearly its not supposed to be about that
and teens want advice from other teens not adults :/
im probly one of the only people who thinks this but oh well ...

To be quite honest by the time the members here are 30 they'd probably be long gone. Most'll have a family of their own, they wont have a use for this site any more.

even creppier question; will this place be around long enough that my children will one day be reading my posts? O.o

No. Just because I'm not a teenager anymore, I'm not allowed to still post here? Hogwash.

I've wondered that! But that's why those of us who are super paranoid use an alias! ^.^ Makes your children neeevvveeer know...Or when you decide you no longer need VT anymore, change your name on here so you aren't findable.
Anyways, thanks. It was just a thought I had once when I saw a 30 year old get banned because he joined. I only just now put the thought into a question! =P Lawl

I think you should be directed to a different part of the site (It doesnt exist) called virtual adult, and you cant view forums in virtual teen. You still had same username and rep points and post count

I think a social group suits that better.
