If you lived forever, the internet existed in ancient times, almost everyone had internet access, you owned an internet forum for people all over the world to use, and people around the world used your forum back then, what would your forum look like. Let's say that since this forum is for people all around the world, you would have different sections (forums) of the forum dedicated to certain countries. For instance, Germans could use the Germany forum and talk about German politics and everything else related to Germany. Of course the members on your forum, regardless of where they live could all have access to the general forums like the off-topic forum, which would be shared globally among everyone, just like the one on the forum you are on right now is. Let's imagine this message board was around forever, and everytime a new major (or otherwise) country came along, you would add a new section for it, and whenever a country died, you could archive that section (make it so people can still see the posts and forums, but can't reply). What countries would you have forums for, even if only for a certain time period?

Byzantine Empire
Ottoman Empire
United Kingdom / British Empire
France / French Empire
Germany / German Empire
China
Japan
Russia / Soviet Union
Poland
Spain / Spanish Empire
India
Portugal / Portuguese Empire
And then have smaller sections for every other country, listed by continent.
