Basically, a while ago I had this nightmare that was kinda weird.
I'm always having weird nightmares, it's something I guess I'm kinda used to now, but this one was really odd.

It started out where I was in this really unusual house with some friends, and we took some form of food and started eating it, then this woman came out of nowhere, and started telling us off for it. Suddenly my friends disappeared, next thing I knew I was in the room with her alone. I then ran away, and for some strange reason got into my "grandad"s car (to add a small amount of background to that, he's married to my gran, not biological, and a complete perv, can't stand being around him at all, tend to avoid it at all costs.) while my friends walked towards this dock thing which involved going over several hills etc. When we got there, my friends weren't there yet, so we parked up, but then suddenly he set off again, and drove to this remote kind of concrete island on the other side of this lake and began trying to park up again. I said "be careful how fast you go or we'll fall in" so then next moment, he suddenly reverses really fast, and we go flying into this lake, I began panicing, as we drifted towards one side of this lake, we suddenly went flying across to the other one, the car slowly going deeper and deeper into the lake, slowly getting colder and colder. We started going up to this shore kinda thing, seemed like we were gonna go straight up, but then the car slowed and we were kinda stuck in the same place, I started screaming "look what you've done, we're going to die" and he was just emotionless to it all. I then woke up saying "we need to get out!" completely confused as to where I was, if I was alive, and what was going on.

It's been bugging me for a couple of weeks as to what it means, I wrote it down but never really thought about it because it all seemed so strange. Anyone got any ideas? :/

There may be no real logical reason for why you had the dream. It is scientifically proven that dreams only last for about 6 seconds and we have many each night - even if we cant recall it. The brain is quite a amazing thing. May have just been on of those weird ones.

^ My opinion is the same as Josiah's.
I'm no ''expert'' but I think it was a regular (random and weird) dream you had. I don't think it means anything tbh.

Has it been a recurring thing, like have you had it more than once?

I've had ones similiar for a while now, but never the exact same. They seem to get worse/more like this when I'm stressed etc, so it's probably down to that somewhat

Yeah, sounds like stress. If your grandfather has always made you feel a bit weird that's possibly why its him and not someone else.

Mhmm, it was just really freaky because I've never really woken up talking in my sleep etc, so I guess I got really weirded out by it all

i've had dreams like this before...
i always forget what happens in the dream.

try not thinking about it. before going to sleep, think about being with friends or playing with a pet. that works for me.

We all have weird dreams, and we all have dreams about people who are no longer with us, people who had positive/negative impacts on our lives. Sometimes, if not always, we have dreams we just can't explain.

Sounds like a sort of anxiety dream.
