This one I wrote a while ago, but I didn't really show it to anyone I put it as private on my Facebook and it's buried deep in my blog. I just want to pull the curtain now.

It was somewhat inspired by the movie Quills, somewhat my own imagination. A bit disturbing in its entirety, now that I think about it. It was written a while ago, shown by some of the rhyming that makes me cringe a bit. But, whatever *shrug*

The captor keeps me in a cell,
A little room where all is well.
This is what he says, and this is what I know.
This is now my punishment, it is my life that I owe.

At night, he puts me in a cage
To keep me from the world's rage.
This is what he preaches, what I'm always taught.
There is nothing else that I have sought.

Then he leaves me in chains
In my little room where it always rains.
And he doesn't come back until darkness falls
When from his room, to me he calls.

I don't understand what he does.
I don't recall what it was.
But he says it is what is meant to be
And I remain silent, not even a plea

For the first time I opened my mouth
He traveled even further south.
And he took a needle and some thread.
And I listened to his laughter while I bled.

But it really isn't so bad
As long as you don't get him mad.
For I belong only to thee
A lolita and mock-Marquis.
