So, while pondering around the internet and playing with Photoshop, I decided it would be an interesting concept to hold a VT art contest.
While I say contest, please note that your only "prize" will be acknowledgment of your work as VT has no form of prize for me to give.

What is this contest?
This contest is a simple design contest; large scale, or small, anything is compatible. Unlike most of my contests this does not have to be digital art! That's right! Pencil, Ink, Photography, Writing, it's all accepted!

Anyone can enter, and winners will be separated into separate categories! :)

Categories are:
Traditional art- This is for the pen and pencil, painters and crafting gurus.
Digital art- Photoshop junkies, heres your calling.
Photography- Camera whores unite!
Literature- Fuck drawing, imagery is the way to go.

The contest entries must be around the concept of:
"Art is more than just..."

Yes, those words MUST appear somewhere in your piece for it to be eligible, I don't believe people should have to use descriptions to know what it's about. ;)

Any other Q's? Post here or PM me!
Closing: Unknown.

Just post all entries to this thread. If it becomes a problem, I'll open extra threads and request them to be moved into a diary.

It's just general art.
It encompasses EVERYTHING. Why is everyone missing this? >.<

So my submitted piece does not have to have that text in it?

It does have to have that text; however, there is no reason why it couldn't be fit into a sig.
