When you're 14? Yes. You're extremely young and you shouldn't let unnecessary things like relationships and the trouble that comes with them dictate your life.

You are much too young to be hung up over a guy like that but, as it must be said, some things just can't be avoided. Love is a strong word to use when describing how you feel for him and love can only reach to a certain height at the age you've reached now. You miss him but, most likely, you miss the thought of him. Not him in general. That's usually the case. You miss the idea of a boyfriend but not exactly HIM as that boyfriend.

Seven months can seem like a long time but I bet to you it seems like it just happened. You should go meet new guys and get to know others, it lessens the burden of missing the idea and maybe you can find someone new! Someone much more worth your time.

It's not like you don't have years ahead of you to meet new people anyways!

No, I don't want to find another boyfriend. It's not like that. I miss him and him only. No one can replace him. I know people say that I'm young and I don't know what love it, but I'm not the type of girl that dates a guy for a week, dumps him, complains and then moves on. There is so much more to it than that.
I just wish I could go back in time and re live those years, just so I could change it.

Right now, I don't want to be in a relationship. I just want this hurt and grief to stop.

The problem with that view on the matter is that it doesn't hold up in reality. When you're older, you'll realize that love, just like any feeling, can come and go.
