Someone gave me red again? I always help people here, and I never get green for the advice I give, but then I post a scientific theory and I get red?

It's probably because the people who see some of your threads get pissed. I've seen some of them.

Rep isn't a big deal. No need to whine. (And by "scientific theory," I sincerely hope you're not referring to your 13-year-old pregnancy topic.)
If you feel it's that unjust, PM the staff.

I'm not sure about scientific theory, but I'm guessing the -rep was for your thread in ROTW. If you post something, maybe tongue in cheek, that will stir discussion there is a risk that someone will not like it and give you -rep.
In this particular instance it must have been someone with very low rep power and so has had very little effect on your overall rep standing. If you really feel it was undeserved you can appeal by PM to an admin, but there is no guarantee that they will agree it was unfair.
-rep is a fact of life on vt, we all get it, live with it. Bitching about it tends to attract more of the same.

It's a theory. I didn't say it's a fact, I said in the post, It's just a theory.

That particular thread was one where you must have known no one would actually agree with what you said. In terms of starting a discussion or debate I dont have a problem with that and certainly dont think in the context of ROTW it deserved -rep.
But some members only ever see things in black and white and cant understand taking a case to start a discussion. Dont let it worry you, as I said in my earlier post, it hasnt had much effect on your overall rep.

Even if it hasn't really affected me, it's still there, staring me right in the face every time I go to user CP.

Don't go to user CP, then. I have neg rep, but I venture into my user CP like a big boy and ignore it, or read it to see why I was negatively rep'd.

It's a theory. I didn't say it's a fact, I said in the post, It's just a theory.
I don`t blame people for neg-repping you for that, because it wasn`t based on any scientific evidence, nor did it explain why it was beneficial, but that is far from the point. People will always have an opinion. It can be positive, or negative, but they are entitled to it. You can`t expect people to, well, kiss your ass for nothing and then whine when they view your opinions as "dumb" or "empty". That is life, pure and simple. Don`t let rep affect your mood.

Rep isnt a big deal. So what if someone didnt like what you posted just say "what the fuck? why did I get that? Oh well." and move on end of story.

Trust me, rep is no big deal at all. Sure I have a lot (in some respects). But I wouldn't care if I had 0. It's not important.

Deal with it, OP. If you make negative contributions to the site that people don't appreciate, your reputation is going to reflect that.

People that rep the person are normally unsatisfied with their own lives, are bored, or most likely a noob. Or a combination of the three. Don`t worry about them.

And you just got it again. That post was extremely rude and uncalled for, and if this continues this thread will be thoroughly locked.
Hasn't the question been answered anyway, Seniors? This should be locked to defer more insults.

As Adam says, if this continues the thread won't just be locked, it will be thoroughly locked. Anyway, posting that didn't really help your case - you just lost more rep from me than Ender can deduct.
