Thirteen is the best age to have a kid. At thirteen they are a teenager, and she can date. Now a guy gets her pregnant, nine months later she has a son/daughter. Then by the time that son/daughter is 13, the mother will only be 26. The cycle then repeats itself. This is a perfect system, at least in theory.

It's far from perfect. I'd never trust a group of people comprised of 7th graders and Justin Bieber fans with children. They're simply not mature enough. Remember, this is a group of people who can't tell the difference between "you're" and "your".

There is no "best" age to have kids. It's the ability of the parents and how much they care about their children that will determine how successful/balanced the kids are when they grow up, not whether they are 30 or fucking 13. Who cares how old the parents are if they are good, caring parents? There is no scientific research that would leave any rational person to conclude that there is an optimum age to have kids.

Do you even realize what you've just said? Thirteen might be a teen and girls that age might be "old enough to bare children" but teen pregnancy can cause a lot of physical AND mental problems. Most women before the age of at least twenty still have developing bodies. Teenage girls lack the nutrition needed to support both her and her baby. Premature birth is a much HIGHER risk...

Good lord. You should look into these things before going off and putting the idea into teens heads that it's easy and safe to have a baby.
