I think we should have a icon for members to recommend topics to be sticked by a mod, gmod or admin.

There is, it's called the report button. If you ever want to tell a mod anything about a post - good, or bad - use it.

You could do this by sending a personal message to one of the forum moderators or senior staff. The 100 posts requirement doesnt apply if you are PMing staff members.

A button would be useless for this considering very few VT threads are ever worth sticking.

Even if there is something worth the sticky, mods do notice them and think about whether those threads should be stickied or not. It's generally an issue for the section staff to decide on.

It should be up to the staff which threads get sticked or not, but we always appreciate when one is recommended. PM it, report it, VM it. I don't think there needs to be a button for it.
