Hullo Peoples :}
Being a massive fan of My Chemical Romance, i'll be seeing them on February 18th and i was wondering who else may be seeing them on this tour?
It'd also be nice to know who may be their supporting acts, if anybody knows.
I've heard its Architects & Mindless Self Indulgence, but im not sure.
:D

>Implying they weren't sell outs from the last two albums they made
>Implying they were ever good in the first place.
People that like this band are usually 13-16 year old teenage girls who shop at hot topic and are in love with vampires. They might begin and end their usernames with Xx's to try and make themselves sound a little more 'hardcore' or whatever the fuck that means.
What I'm saying is, the people that like mcr have always seemed to be worse than the band itself.

I don't shop at Hot Topic and im not in love with vampires.
Also, I didn't use the x at the end of my username to sound 'hardcore' or whatever :')
Mcr are not a bad band, but you're entitled to your own opinion..
Personally, i find them really amazing.

Bad, not compared to other artists I can come up with. Amazing, pushing it.
I don't care if people listen to them, but it's difficult to call them amazing.

>Implying that everyone who shops at Hot Topic are part of the emo subculture (I go there for band shirts and gloves)
>Implying people who like vampires like modern vampires. (Twilight, True Blood instead of Nosferatu, Dracula)
But yeah, your description otherwise is very spot on. I used to have a friend who was 15, loved Twilight, shopped at Hot Topic and obsessed over MCR.

People that are on here hating on My Chemical Romance I have a something to say but first off why are you on here if you don't even like My Chemical Romance didn't you read the title of this discussion?
Now what I have to say is that someone said below me that most MCR fans are 13-16 year old teenage girls who shop at hot topic and are in love with vampires. Well I'm 16 a girly girl I don't shop at Hot Topic and the only vampires I like are in True-blood because that's got some hardcore sex in it and I love My Chemical Romance. If you don't like their new album Danger Days that's fine but don't criticize it Gerard Way and the entire band changed their sound because Gerard had a beautiful daughter and it changed his perspective on life he no longer see the darkness like in revenge or black parade. You don't have to like every song that comes from this band but give it a try it's meaning is so powerful even if it doesn't sound or seem like the lyrics mean anything to you. Music is like people we're always changing. Listen to the music that inspires you to do what you love take a song and really think of the meaning that what I do and that's why i truly love My Chemical Romance.

My favourite band cannot make a world tour. They can only make a single gig in their local area once every 2 or 3 months. :(
And I don't even have most of their lps - and few of them are out of print. :(

Why the FUCK are Architects supporting MCR? I really hope they're not.

^ It's funny because it's extremely accurate.

>Implying all discussions on a band must be one-sided conversations of praise.

Many artists have changed the moods and themes of their songs because of something that's happened in their lives, and lots have done it in a much better fashion than MCR...
