Well it's not good but if you studied hard and worked well then you are a good student.
eg. My friend gets 25 out of 100 most of the time and she works hard, i get 60 out of 100 and i work just as hard as her.

i was late with the exam last friday, the test is called MTAP (u probably dont know that)..
i dont know if my teacher will give me a test on monday!... i got the worst situation... and my parents never knew about it.!

so, i think it is better to have a score than nothing..

As long as you did the best you can you have nothing to be ashamed of. Some people just aren't that good in Maths. I myself am terrible in everything Maths related, but I excel at writing and language arts. Everyone has something that they are good in. :)

I don't know what to say about your mother telling you that you won't get into a decent school. She was either frustrated when she said that, really meant it, or was saying it to motivate you if you don't try hard enough in school. I don't know your mom or your academic prowess, so I can't say for sure.

Whatever it is, good luck getting into college. If you try hard enough but don't excel in maths, don't worry about it. You're definitely better in other subjects. If you didn't study/try hard enough in school, then work harder and more diligently if you want to get into a decent college. (Easier said than done, I know.)

Like I said, good luck! Rooting for you! :D

I'm taking the SAT in March. What's some good scores that a B+, A- student should get? what are some scores i should strive for?

I'm sorry that you feel the way that you do and that you did not achieve your goal. My advice would be to study and try again or perhaps take the ACT exam instead. Colleges will accept either.
