It may seem a bit perverted but i personnaly think u should show him how to do it. Tell him about it answer any questions and show him. It might be quite scary for him if he finds out by himself, which he will if he hasn't already - cause it will make him think "what the hells goin on?"
If you, his big brother demonstartes to him how he can do it and why it feels like it does, he will understand it more

Speeking from experiance, I never had a older brother around to teach or tell me anything, and I wish I would have had an older brother to tell and teach me. Masturbation is essentially a private act, if you choose to wank with friends that's ok, but with your younger brother, not really. You can explain that, when you get older, its kind of enjoyable to play with your penis, and that he should try it some time. But leave it at that. There's no need for a pratical demonstration.

Hmm. To be honest I definately think you should explain. Practical demonstration .. dunno, depends on how you feel about it and whether its really going to help him. Well ive been there, a few months ago so i hope this helps. I've got twin bros who are 11 and we're pretty open around each other and they asked me what jerkin off meant.
