This is a kind of embarrassing subject, which is why I came here about it instead of somewhere where I know people...

Anyway, I seem to have developed some kind of growth close to my vagina. I don't see how it could be a genital wart, since not only am I a virgin, but I don't even masturbate. And I have slight OCD, so don't sit on public toilets.

The thing is, this isn't the first time there's been one there. And the last time, I panicked and thought genital warts and researched them online, and they don't usually look quite like mine did, and they're supposed to be painless, but mine was sore, etc. So I let it be, even though I was worried about it, and it went away after a few days. I figured maybe it was just a pimple that happened to grow down there, and stopped thinking about it.

Now it's back, in the exact same place, and causing me pain and discomfort again. And I don't know what to do about it, and I don't know what it is or why it's there or how it could have gotten there.

I literally can't think of any way I could have contraced genital warts, but can't think of what else it might be. So, if anyone has any ideas on this, please, please let me know.

I know it's probably stupid and I shouldn't worry about this, but I am worried, so I needed to ask about it somewhere.

I wouldn't take a chance. Go to a sex health clinic or GP. Some of these things can make you infertile or even if it just spreads and looks horrid you won't want that.

Honestly, I doubt it is anything serious. You can still get it checked out if you wish, but it's not all that uncommon and definitely doesn't sound like an STD.

To be honest, it actually sounds very much like a pimple. They can redevelop where they've been in the past. It doesn't seem serious, but as has been said, you can definitely go to a clinic and have your mind put at ease.

Its best to get things like that cheaked by a Doc - Better to be Safe then Sorry.

It dosent sound like Genital Warts there is a whole list that it could be. Many people jump to the worse case senario and 9/10 times it is something only minor.

If you need anymore help feel free to ask.
