Am I a psychopath?

I love to toy with peoples petty emotions, like I laugh at my mom when she gets mad or cried because of me, I get a strange blood lust I lie all the time I only care about one person besides me I feel sorta bland emotions to I break all the rules tried to run away once and have constant murderous fantasies. If you were a psychopath you wouldn't be questioning it. Psychopath's mimic other people's behaviour, and a lot of the time they believe that they are just like everyone else. So no, you're not a psychopath if you've asked the question.

I wouldn't say psychopath. However, it could be something called Antisocial Personality Disorder, which is the new, broader term (psychopathy doesn't exist anymore, technically, as in the disorder. The DSM-III was when they changed it, which was published in 1980). Gosh, I know way too much about the DSMs.

My other thought would be sadistic personality disorder. That doesn't exist anymore either, but they didn't change it to anything else so I still use those two. Malevolent antisocial, a subtype of the previous personality disorder I gave, includes sadistic and paranoid features however.

Not a psychopath, but there could be a personality disorder behind it.

As has already been established, you are not a psychopath. I'd say you sound more like having Sadistic Personality Disorder as opposed to Antisocial Personality Disorder (aka a sociopath), as indicated by the blood lust and murderous fantasies.

He won't be able to get sadistic personality disorder as a diagnosis from a professional however. Like I said, there's a sadistic subtype of antisocial personality disorder that could be looked into.
