I was wondering how to Freeze an account. Pardon me for being such a newfag, but I just can't figure it out and I'm going on vacation.

You can just log out. Freezing an account is just a punishment. When you are frozen, you can visit the forum, but there are few things you cannot do, like posting in forum.

You dont need to freeze your account while you're away and you cant freeze your own account. As Faris has said been frozen is in effect a temporary ban that you get for too many infractions or for a more serious breach of the rules. You can still log in and read the forums but you cant post, send any messages or give out rep.

You can ask an admin if you can be frozen for a certain amount of time while you're away. For example Sage has been frozen for a few days for school work. Though it isn't done very often. Its easier just to log out for a few days.
