A question(obviously):

Is it okay if we post links to download sites? I mean, they are normally blogs and what not. And they link to other places where we can download things in an illegal manner.

All I have heard, is you can put websites for sites in stuff, as long as it isnt for contact information and stuff like that.
Not too sure though.

If it applies to the thread, then yes.
If you're just randomly spitting out random download sites in random threads, then no, that's not ok.

So if you're talking about WarezBB (Or similar sites), no you can't post a link to that. Ever.
If you're talking about MediaFire/RapidShare, then yes, you can post a link to that.

If you post a link to a site that violates copyright rules, warez, or illegal download is an infraction, no way around that. It's stated so in the rules, don't do it.

File sharing is OK as long as it is either your work or something you represent that's YOURS. If it's someone else' or illegal, don't post it.

So as long it is my original stuff, it's okay to link them via Rapidshare and Megaupload an etc. But if it is music, movies, eBook etc - that's certainly illegal, am I right so far?
