Theres a local Porsche dealership ( Porsche of North Olmsted ) which I would love to work. The only problem is that I don't know if they would even consider higher a 16 year. Especially when the owner also owners a Mercedes-Benz right next door that is the number one seller of Mercedes-Benz in the central U.S. ... for 4 consecutive years !!! They also are the number two dealer of Maybach in the country!!! Also they have an AMG performance center ... one of only twenty-five in the U.S. And their the Number one SLR dealer ... in the WORLD!!! (if you don't belive me the watch this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CpIKd0BZTAo)) More or less there a pretty good dealership and I Image that Porsche isn't far behind. Well so my main question is would the porsche dealership hire me? (I image I would work for north olmsted autocollection (Lotus, Saab, Mercedes-Benz, and Porsche)) I just don't know if they would risk it with someone so young so I'm asking all of you for your opinion so I don't look like fool for asking when I have no chance at getting a job.

Mostly I just want to detail cars, cleanup, prep cars for sales, check fluids, more or less just be their scrub.(I'll get what I can take)

Sorry for the long post:(

I don't think age has anything to do with it, if you are legally old enough to do the job then they can't discriminate against you because you are younger than other applicants, however they will usually go for someone with more qualifications or experience...

as nicole said, for the type of cars they are selling, maybach for example, the chances are they will be looking for a older man, one wo screams class, not a young boy who cant even buy alcohol, sorry :/
i know when iv been with my dad when he buyd cars, those at the dealerships are usualy mid 20's-40's ish, normaly in the better dealerships, its early 30's.

but, with that said, go for it, you never know lol :D

Most companies and such have webpages, a lot of those webpages have information on job openings/applications. Here they'll give an age.

I doubt they'd hire you for a car dealer. But there could be some other little job they'd recruit a teen for. But if coffee shops and book stores are eighteen, I don't think car dealerships are sixteen.
