Obviously not Primary/Elementary or whatever. Like High School.
I wanted to go to the school 2 of my friends go to. How ever my parents made me go to the one for my area. :/
It actually sucks. Like seriously. I hate it. T.T
The school I wanted to go to is muuuch better. :(

Nah, my parents forced me to go where I go now. :/
I wanted to go to a magnet school for the visual arts, but they wouldn't let me.
So I tried another magnet school, and still no.
Thus ending up where I am now.
Which works out in my favour, my second choice has turned into a terrible school the last four years, and my first choice I would have to be at a bus stop at 6 am and get home at 4pm.

I chose, but it was the one either the one my sister or cousin was going to, so either way i didn't care. Alot of my friends went to a school that was closer to their area (i went to primary school in the next town over) and i'm glad i didn't follow them, it's kinda trashy and i met a ton of interesting people along the way.
Give it time, your 13 just in first year right? Everyone's scared of their shadow in that year lol give it time.

I got to choose, although my mum told me the schools she would prefer me to go to, I ended up choosing the one she went to anyways, but then I wanted to move half way through due to bullying from teachers and students, but my mum wouldn't allow me.

Yes. I didn't want to go to the area public school, and most of my friends went to the high school I chose. I don't regret it at all.

Nope, I go to a public school, no biggy. Not a big school and it stays pretty calm. Small town, haha.

My mum chose my primary school for me, a French Immersion school  I started really complaining about it later. But now, I wouldn't have it any other way.
No say in the rest of my schools until I chose online school for year 11. My stepdad chose the actual school, but it was my decision to try online school. And of course I chose my college. There are many schools I would prefer, but as far as Atlanta, it was my favourite.

I wish I lived somewhere where there was more than one HS to choose from. I'm not particularly fond of my school, it was built in the '60s and hasn't received any major renovations in that whole time. Not to mention the musical arts department is relegated to two rooms on the very edge of the school. Our marching band is kickass though, so that's something.

I didn't choose, wasn't even asked. It was presumed I would go to the public school with all the people from my primary. Either way I didn't mind though, the school is pretty shit but at least I met a few people that are cool, which makes dealing with everyone else slightly easier to bare.

I go to a public school in a town that is counted as a "village" of maps. So no, I didn't have a choice!

I didn't get to choose, however i'm quite fond of my school. If given the opportunity to choose right now, any school I wanted to go to, i'd stay where i'm at now.

No. My parents really chose which schools I went to. There were good schools in my city, and there were also bad schools, and my parents always made sure I went to the good schools. It sucked, because most of my friends went to the bad school, and I wouldn't be able to talk to them.

I was in one catholic school first, but it had all these ridiculous rules so I wanted to change schools, and I did, but to another catholic school which was actually way better, it helped e make my own choices and decide for myself what is the best thing to do in different situations. There weren't any stupid rules for no reason. I loved my school.

No, there was no other option. In any event, my high school was better then the other nearest other one, they had this crappy system called 'academies' where a counselor would place you in one of four and you had no choice in your courses.
I chose my college. I'm about to drop out though, they've raised the tuition from $69 per credit hour to $84, can't afford to go >_>

I just picked the closest school. I had no other choices as I didn't know what I wanted to do yet so I picked a "normal" school.

I had little choice in the matter. I hadn't even heard of the school I wanted to go to when my parents basically told me I was going there, moreso my father than my mother.
He basically condemned all public schools and said "if you're sent to mix with scum, Dad will end up in prison".
At the time I thought he was a bit insane, but now that I've been at private school for five years, I completely see why he did it.
I don't regret letting my parents choose at all - they made the right choice for me. I see where all my friends have gone and what they get up to at school and frankly I'm glad I left them all behind. The ones that I wanted to keep in touch with, I still do, so I don't have an issue.
Hope this answered your question ^^

I didnt get to pick my primary school well because i was 4 lol, for high school i didnt really have the choice because there was only 3 high schools in my town back then and two of them were catholic so i had to pick the one i went to mainly because im not catholic and all of my friends were going there.

I got to pick my high school, but that's because it's a magnet school. You have to apply and decide to go. If I hadn't gotten in, I would not have gotten to choose.
