I like watching, the blood dripping down my arm. I love the pain. I got out of one whole, now into an entirely new one. I think about it, all the time, its so good. I love feeling, I love wiping it up, its so good.I love making the cut and feel the pain, and the blood welling...........

Shit sorry rant

Aww Matt

Dont be like this, I know exactly how you feel buddy, you just gotta keep your mind off this, try distraction techniques, i'm sure you've heard of ice, elastic bands, drawing, writing.

Anything other than cutting, you gotta try buddy.

I know you can do this.

Hello Matthew,

Don't apologize for talking, it's better to talk about it then hold in everything. I know how you feel about liking those feelings and seeing that blood. It's a very strong feeling, but it's not helping you at all. It may feel good for that short time, but in the end that feeling is going to wear off and you're going to have the same feelings you did before you cut. It's a never ending cycle and it only takes a toll on your body and your emotions.

I know times can be tough, I really understand that, but cutting should never be an option, it's an addiction. I know those feelings are very extreme and it's hard to quit, but please try and keep your well being at mind, this isn't helping you at all, or your problems. If you decide to quit, try to replace it with a more healthy habit maybe using your hands, like sports, video games, reading. Just try to find something that helps you stop thinking about it, or at least detour you to think about it. Even with taking small steps, just try and get rid of those blades when you're ready and make the step. It's only going to help you in the end if you stop. You can feel good without cutting, there's so much more to life than that.

Keep your head up Matthew, I know this probably isn't everything that you wanted to hear, but in the end, it's only going to help you if you heed it. If you need someone to talk to, I'm always here to help. :hug3:

Don't do it Matthew...once you start it's hard to stop. You gotta pull away from it before it gets worse.

I'm not going to join in and tell you "don't do this", "it's wrong", etc.. I don't know you and I don't want to chance making you feel bad about yourself, cause that makes the problem grow.

Please be aware that like the above poster said, cutting is an addiction. It will grow and become worse. I don't want to frighten you - it's just the reality of the situation.

Do some thinking about yourself. Why is it that you like to see your blood? Why do you feel like you need the pain?

After I got to the bottom of some of this stuff myself, it was easier for me to find coping mechanisms that were for me personally. Not everything works for every person.

Above all, remember that you have worth. You are not crazy, you are not a bad person, and you are no different than anyone else. You are loved.
