For those of you who are aircraft insane zombies, what do you think about the leaked pictures of the J-20? Do you think it could out manuver(spelling?) and take out an f-22?

It does not look stealth to me. I think it was a good try but by the lines and the way it looks there is know way it can be stealth. looks to me like a mig 1.44 to me. It may actually be able to out maneuver an f-22 but its not stealth

It is not a fighter. It is meant to be a spy plane with the option of being a bomber. So take out a Raptor I dont think so. As far as stealth goes it is stealthy because of the material it is made up of. The material absorbs the radar rather than bounce it back just like the B2. Plus this thing is massive so tbh it wont be great IMO

Coming from VT's largest aircraft nerd, it would be a fairly even fight. Both are 5th generation stealth fighters and are quite comparable. Although they both have thrust vectoring, the J-20 is significantly larger, so the F-22 would likely outmaneuver it. Therefore, the F-22 would have a slight advantage in dogfight.
