I am going to the Apple Store to get some support on my iPod. The headphone jack has gone out, so only 1 earbud broadcasts music, unless you hold down the jack. I got it less than a year ago, so it should still be under warranty. So, what are the odds that they will actually repair it for me?

Have you tried another pair of earbuds? Most of the time, it's a problem with the earbuds, internal cords, etc..

The first couple of times, it was the earbuds. The current ones I have, I use in my computer, and they work just fine on there.

I'm guessing you have a touch, right?

Well, if it is still under warranty, they'll be forced to repair/replace it. The only time the warranty doesn't apply is when the device got broken following abnormal use or user negligence - for example, if your dog chewed it or if it fell on the ground. This is not the case here, so they should fix it.
