This is really stumping me. I had a sore throat and my voice was like crackly and deeper, and now the sore throat is gone. But my voice is still deep(er) and cracky and feels like weird. My mom and a friend said something to me. Earlier today at school it got a little higher like normal but when back down near 7th period. I was wondering if my voice is changing. I have a little armpit hair and kind of a lot of pubic hair. I am 13.
Also is it possible for it to be a symptom of your voice changing with a soar throat? :D
*Edit* It was more like 5th period, doesn't really matter though.

possibly, and yes you are changing, like for example when some1 is really sick, and they get better, they may be a new person. meaning that they have developed some more.

Getting sick does not trigger growth.
Your throat may be sensitive (though very slightly) while your voice changes.
Since you're hearing a different pitch in your voice, yes, your voice is changing. It'll take awhile, not only for it to drop, but for you to be able to control it. That explains why it went up and then down throughout the day.

I agree. Some guys just wake up one morning with a lower voice but for most guys its a gradual process and can take many months before your voice settles at its new pitch.

Yeah mine started going last year but for me its just taking its time to settle, and not very low. I only really noticed myself when I went into a rehearsal and said something, and my music teacher was like "aha they've dropped, have they?" . Main thing for me is I forget how my voice sounds now, so I go to say something and the pitch i'm thinking of using doesn't work for my new range, so nothing comes out or it cracks.

Yeah it is, but you must sound mature enough which is something, or they'd have known you were a kid.
