So Limmenel and i have been working on a list of ways to cool down when your anxiety gets too high. This is for people with SAD but it could help with other anxiety issues.
Deep breaths are amazing. In for four, out for four or whatever number works best for you.
Tell yourself you are not a mind reader. There is no guarantee people are thinking about you or whispering about you. If they do, unless you can hear them perfectly and it cannot be subject to misunderstanding.
Also if you get seriously overwhelmed, take a moment and start counting.
Distract Your self with a book or close friend or whatever works for you.
Energy work Google it, it's hard to explain.
