I've been trying to find a way of making my own music for a while, but have a problem:

I'm not rich.

Does anyone here know of any Studios (FL Studio, Sony, etc.) that don't cost an arm and a leg?

I'd try to get one for free, but I'm crazy paranoid that the ONE thing I download for free will land me in bad place...

My friend gave this one cool website where you can mix actual music. It's completely similar to the real thing, just virtual. It's www.virtualdj.com.
