16 and want a promotion
Okay so I work for a grocery store, and I have been here for close to a year now. I do many positions in the store, and have never gotten spoken to once about my work. I am very friendly with everyone that I work with, and the managers are very nice to me. So heres the problem....I want a promotion! I know I am privileged to work, and to be blessed with such nice employees. I want to become a front end manager, it's not that major because another 17 year old does it too. I know how to work with the customers, and get their questions answered all the time. I don't know if I should wait a little longer before asking, or be up front about it because the other front end managers are my friends so maybe I should bring it up with them one day. I am just confused because I am going to school for business and I want to stay here because maybe one day I can move up into corporate or a store manager. Thanks for reading! Opinions? Advice? Anything :)
