Does anyone use them regularly? I rode the bus last summer to get home from my classes, and it was so inconvenient because I had to wait for the next bus, at each of my stops, and it could take a while. I have never ridden a taxi, but
I have been told that they are inconvenient around my area which is the suburbs of Chicago.

Not any more if I can help it, nope. Learning to drive and getting a car was possibly one of the most freeing things I've ever done and I wouldn't revert back to public transport.

Ugh.. I hate buses. Sometimes I use them though. But never alone.
And I 'use' taxi pretty often since both my mother and my brother are taxi-drivers.

In this town theres no such thing as busses and taxis, lol. The only bus I ride is the school bus and hate it. Next year I can drive so I dont have to worrie bout it no more.

I ride City Buses when I'm in the city (Duh) since I can't drive.
Although the only time when there are seats are at dawn and dusk. :/
And taxis...you have to order one by phone. :U No haltin' down anything in this city.

I took the bus to school occasionally when I was younger, and I have taken the bus regularly going to or coming from work (normally in conjunction with the subway). Like this summer: parking nearest my office in Toronto was $30/day. So... yeah, taking public transit.
*edit* Oh and forgot about cabs. Yeah, of course I use em - how else does one get home after a long night of drinking?

I hardly ever use taxis they're way to expensive but on a weekday i'll get 4 buses a day and i've never minded it apart from when you get really old people moaning about "school kids today" or when you get the yr 7s from the local comp who annoy the hell out of me.
Oh and the sunday service is annoying to, how are you ever meant to get anywhere if there are no buses?!

I use the school bus to come home from school everyday, takes me about 1.5 hours, although, when I can drive, my commute will be cut in half which will be very nice :D
Don't really ever use a taxi. Haven't the need to so I don't

I go to a private school (Regular District oddly pays for it) so I get a towncar service and sometimes (Rarely) a limo!

i travel on 4 buses every day to school. 2 in the morning and 2 in the afternoon. they are comfortable. they are quiet and they are air conditioned. You will probably die (not literally) with out the air con.
i put 3 photos below 2 of them in which i travel on. i also put a pic of a bus that got sandwiched between two trucks.

I rarely ride the city bus or taxi. Last time I did either was in China
