I've been trying to add pictures to my albums, but it keeps saying 'image not valid' ...what does this mean?

I think it means... image not valid. Perhaps if you told us something about the image you're trying to upload, we'd be able to help.

Is your image bigger than 1Mb? You may need to resize it first.

Well, I'm trying to add pictures of me when I was younger. and they're all under 1 and they're all a good size.

Maximum Picture Dimensions 1,024 by 768 Pixels
Pictures will be automatically resized to fit within these constraints if possible. However, you may receive better results by doing it manually.

Be sure to take into note your remaining space and be sure the uploads in total aren't larger than what's left.
Also, just because VT doesn't say this, doesn't mean it's not true- check the save format. VT may not allow certain formats. I suggest: PNG, JPG, JEPG, or (not really) BMP. These are usually accepted in most places.
