Will my pimple scars ever go away?

I have pimple scars on my face, chest and back. Will time be a healer and heal them? Or will I have them... FOREVER?

Most likely not, i'm afraid. I have a pretty small scar on my face from when my acne was really bad a couple years ago, but a scars a scar and they don't heal.

Go see a dermatologist. There are things they can do to reduce the appearance or completely remove an acne scars.

Yeah, trust me there actually is a variety of things that reduce the appearance of acne scars, and I don't mean to be rude when I say not to post when you don't know what you're talking about, especially something that would get someone's hopes down.

A few options are:
1. Creams and rubs that can reduce scars, such as Mederma or even Petroleum Jelly (Look that one up! Lol)
2. Microdermabrasion (Google it for specifics) This basically removes layers and layers of skin over a period of time until the scars literally fade away, not to mention it's pretty much painless.
3. Uhh...stick your face and torso in a tub full of acid! Sure your skin will be gone completely, but so will the scars! :D

Scar tissue will not change in nature with time. They are different to normal skin because they are laid down much faster than normal and tends to be not as uniform whcih is why they appear different. If you scratched your spots when they were healing then you will have continually disrupted the scar formation making it even more difficult for the skin of the scar to be laid down normally. If you were able to resist this (most can't) then there will be some smoothing of the skin with time and the scars usually lose their redness and become a more normal skin colour. If it still bothers after the end of puberty, 21+, then there are remedial treatments available.

Don't fret just see a dermatologist they can give you something to reduce the scaring. Also for a quick fix try tea tree cover up, the tea tree is good for your skin.

I hope they do cuz I have alot of scaring on my forehead that's why I won't get my hair cut short lol

They can eventually totally go away. Otherwise they'll at least fade and get smaller.

Mine has. I go to a dermatologist and she gave me some gel and some wash. The was is called DCL. it works great. I had Acne for years and it's finally gone. The wash has some thing with a b in it which gets rid of the acne and it has bleach. My face hasn't changed colors or anything lmao but I have no scars anymore
