Cheapo microphone

How do i make my $5 mic from Newegg have higher voice quality? I already have a paper towel acting as a windscreen over the mic, but what else? I've been doing voice acting lately and all of my employers, I guess, even though I don't get paid, say that I need to get a better mic, but I don't have the money. Suggestions?

There isn't really much you can do to make it better.

Perhaps mow the lawn for some money or ask your parents for money.

You also need to take into consideration the fact that the best mic on earth will suck if the sound card doesn't have a high enough sample rate.

but say a 25$ mic
thats not allot of money

I don't get it.. it sounded perfect... you don't really need damn expensive mics to have a nice recording...
