Basically Obama made some "fantastic" speech that honored the six people who died in the Arizona shooting.

I've taken the liberty of picking some pieces of the article for you to discuss.

“Rather than pointing fingers or assigning blame, let us use this occasion to expand our moral imaginations, to listen to each other more carefully, to sharpen our instincts for empathy and remind ourselves of all the ways our hopes and dreams are bound together,” Obama told 14,000 people at the University of Arizona’s McKale Memorial Center.

I'm not completely sure if it was Obama himself who blamed Sara Palin, but im sure he's manipulated the fact that people are blaming her to his advantage. Yet he's telling people not to "point finger or assign blame".

“Gabby opened her eyes, and I can tell you she knows we are here, she knows we love her, and she knows we are rooting for her,” Obama said.

Rooting for her? The president shouldn't be "rooting" for a congress women who got shot in the head, he should be praying for her. Even if he isn't Christian (although I think he is) the president of a country whose motto is "In God we Trust" should be praying, not "rooting".

My god, you're so negative. I dislike Obama as much as the next guy, but chill, he made a speech. What else did you expect him to do? He's just acting as a spokesperson. It's the general public's opinion that the "finger-pointing" has gone too far, of course he's going to echo that.

Ever heard of this isn't a Christian nation, and he doesn't want to offend anyone and make it seem like his religion is the right one? If he does that, then he'd be antagonized for it, like you are doing it for him now. And praying doesn't do anything, bud.

Well ok then. The sad thing is that right beside this article (I'm subscribed to this paper) is one titled "'Blood libel' overshadows Palin message". Kind of seems hypocritical to put both of these articles next to each other, does it not?

You think my opinion is biased do to the fact I'm a Christian? I accepted atheism awhile ago... I suppose this just makes me a trolling hypocrite, but never mind that.

I never said your opinion was biased. I was just stating what I was stating. I was annoyed by your comment.

Meh, I don't see the issue. It's not hypocritical, it's just "balanced reporting" or whatever you want to call it.
