For a sophomore girl to like an 8th grader?
I'm 15 and a half, and he just turned 14.
I know that's normal if the boy is older, but I feel weird liking somebody younger than me, considering I usually go for older guys/girls.

its only a year and a half difference. That seems really big in highschool, but it really isnt that bad.


Idk how it is everywhere else but at my highschool you only date people who are atleast in highschool, so i would find it a little weird but if you like him it should really matter what i, or anyone else thinks.

When your in high school the age thing is a bit frowned upon. It's like when a senior dates a freshmen and everyone freaks out when most parents have a four year (or more) age difference between them! But the fact is the difference in yall is just a year and a half (Did he get held back? I was 14 as a fish! lol!) and if you two actually both like eachother then it shouldn't matter.

Keep in mind that girls in general are more mentally mature than blokes. You may get frustrated with him at times if he doesn't act as mature as you would like him to be. You will get flack from your friends, like it or not, we do have a pecking order in school.
