I was thinking about getting a new anti-virus program, but I'm too lazy to search it so I posted this. lol I have: "Fix-it", "Symantec Anti-Virus", "Spybot Search and Destroy", "Ad-Aware", "McAfee", "Auto Updates", "Hercules Remediation Agent". lol Ya, I know. My comp is slow. My dad thinks I need all that junk. lol

I would recommend keeping to only Spybot - Search & Destroy 1.4 and Adaware SE 1.06; though make sure you always keep them up-to-date. Those should be the only two you'll ever need for spyware, adware, and general malware protection.

The only other thing to get would be an anti-virus. If you cannot afford to buy one, try AVG's free anti-virus.

Thanks. My dad downloaded all that crap. He thought I needed it.I like my symantec anti-virus, though. It does a good job.

Spybot, Adaware, and AVG

Although if your leet and dont mind using something a little harder go with NOD32. Nothing gets past it. Oh, and for a firewall im using smoothwall.

No rent 99% of all the automated shit as in viruses cant get through it

A good direct attack can get through anything.. But Nod-32 is the best AV
