I don't know about anyone else, but I have parents that are absolutly amazing. So, anyone who agrees, post your fondest memory or something that your parents did that proves their awesomness. <3

Haha dosent look like theres a lot of stories being posted :p haha I don't have fondest memories with them but I can come up with one to get this thread rollin ;)

It was a home game and my parents usally don't attend my hockey games this year because im on a team which is 45mins from our home... But they suprised me one weekend and were at my home games that weeknd :D and we went out to eat after and they were even proud of me <3 haha

My mom approached me about my sexuality and was completely supportive.

My dad is always going out of his way to spend time with my brother and I.

My mom works all day to keep money in and support myself and my grandmother, and my father.. Well he left when I was a little baby, and never cared much to pay child support.

He got deported last year, and when I turn 18 he will try and contact me to see if I can get him back in the united states. When he does, I'm gonna fly his sorry ass back to america, say I don't know him when he gets here, and that bitch is going to get deported again.

But I love my mom, shes good to me.

While I was still living with them, we would do this thing where, once my younger sister and brother were asleep, we'd be up at midnight or so making pancakes, all three of us XD My stepdad's this major night owl who has meals shifted up a bit since he wakes up at noon or so, so his third main meal would be at this time. And then we'd just talk over breakfast and tea at midnight :P

I also have many distinct memories of being very upset and then falling asleep in my mum's arms when she would try to comfort me.

I loved our walk downtown during the winter holidays as well when I was back there for almost two weeks. It was never a tradition I did with her, I used to always do the walk with my cousin and later Jay once I met him. Last year, my mum went more often with me. Snow on the ground, shopping, and just talking like I hadn't with her for a while. Then when that truck went by and splashed me with that ice-cold slush on the street >.<

my main memory is when I was younger back in the time when I was to scared to sleep, I sleept at the other end of the house to my parents and I used to stay awake for ages trying to stay awake, but I always used to run through the house and get into mum and dads bed in the night, and they always let me, and I used to fall asleep there. cause I knew I was safe from everything in my room XD
