What do you guys think about them I just gauged my to 00 today this one kinda hurt allot and generally i like the pain from piercings and tattoos but anyway what do you guys think of gauges do any of you guys have em

I think they look ridiculous. Why anyone would want to walk around with gaping holes in their ears is beyond me. I'd be too worried about someone yanking on them, such as a small child or someone who wants to kick my ass. Smaller gauges are okay-looking, I admit.

I think small gauges can look okay on the right person. I haven't seen it complete a person.

I'm okay only with small gauges because bigger ones look stupid, and plus I can't imagine them going back (if that's even possible). With small ones I'm convinced they can go back or be difficult to see if removed.

Gauges are awesome big or small. My parents think they're totally disgusting, but I think they're pretty cool. I want gauges, but no bigger than the girth of a pencil because anything bigger might not look right on me. :/

The big ones are like permanent hoops, and if you were to get into a fight, whoops -- you can't take them off. Big disadvantage.

I remember reading in the world record book about some woman with really long earlobes, I think they were gauged, I may be mistaken. Gauges remind me too much of that woman regardless, and it disgusts me a little bit.

I'm stretching my ears right now. I love them, but I'm not going too big. I'm going to make sure the size can be down-sized so if I want to go back to regular earrings, I can down-size the gauges and yeah. But like I said, I think they're great.

It's your choice though, so if you like them, get them. I just could never do that to my ears.

Personally i would only get the fake ones cause i dont want even a tiny gauge in my ear, and the fake ones look better imo

mine arnt too big i went to 00 whichi is like.... i think proly the size of hmm idk what to compare it to but they will shrink back down from 00 it takes time though

my parents hate them and for you you would want 2 gauge which going to that wasnt bad i went from a 14 to a 2 and 14 is belly ring size so i skipped like 6 sizes lol jsut be careful not to blow your ears out

Yes you can, but it requires surgery. A friend of mine gauges her ears, there pretty big now, but she said she plans on getting surgery to get them closed after high school.

Gauges fucking STINK! A friend of mine has 00, and several other friends with smaller gauges, cleans them daily, and they still smell RANCID. After all, its dead skin, constantly trying to replenish itself. But literately, that has got to be one of the worst smells.

My fiance wants small gauges (technically he can`t because he is in the military) but screw that. I`m not going to kiss on his neck if I`m going to get a whiff of stank ear.

Have you ever sniffed bellybutton lint? or even shit that oozes from a normal sized ear piercing? It smells the same.

ANYWAYS. I started gauging my ears with my friend on grade 8 but then my mom found out and flipped shit, she thinks it's disgusting. I got to about a 4. I tried again more recently and she flipped shit again. I have a pair of size 2 plugs that I love that I plan on putting in when I'm 18 so yeah. I'll get there.

i love them to a certain point. i have 8g in both ears. dont have the money to go up yet =[ but i wont go bigger then a sharpie. if i have to let them close or i get bored with them i dont want it to take forever. and i love pain from piercings too! have lip, left cartledge and guages. i want my nose pierced and snakebites. also thinkin about piercing my upper lip =D

You can always down-size them so they go back to regular sizes. It's only at a certain size that it will never go back to regular size without surgery. But if you're not super huge, you can just slowly put smaller gauges and make the hole tinier. When you take the gauges out, they automatically start getting smaller already. You just put the smaller ones in time after time and you go back to regular earring size.
