well recently i have decided to shave my pubes, balls etc. i like it but i have noticed lots of red bumps and it often bleeds when i shave. does anyone know how to stop this? (its not a major problem because i'll be growing it back soon, but it would be good if anyone had any advice (;

Are you using good shaving cream.....perhaps try something else. Or perhaps you are allergic to what you used. Some body washes irritate my skin. However, I only speak from shaving my face. The only time my pubes were shaved was for a surgery.

Dude if you are bleeding it sounds to me like you are using an old razor. When you shave there you need to make sure that the razor is sharp and to use shaving cream. If you are allergic to shaving cream or other things you need to take a pair of scissors and trim your pubes first and then shave. Also apply some powder after you are finished to the area to releave some if not most of the itching. Another thing is do it when you're in the shower and your sac relaxes so you can put it taught. If you are still bleeding I would advise talking to your physician(they wont judge) and see if they have anything to say. Hope this helps.

You have to like use a new razor everytime, and you may be allerjic to the shaving cream, some ppl are.

A sharp, newer razor for that matter

Also just to add, don't apply pressure when using the razor, just place it on the skin and glide it with the grain of the hair, the weight of the razor will do the rest.

Like most say, use a sharp razor & don't shave against the grain of ur pubes

yeah, you can't really prevent the bleeding. as per the bumps, just put on some lotion after and it'll be a lot less of them
