I'm surprised that this hasn't already been posted :/
http://nation.foxnews.com/congress/2011/01/08/congresswoman-shot-arizona
Basically Arizona Rep. Gabrielle Giffords was shot in the head and managed to survive(Anti-Christ? :P). Besides her a 9 year old girl, a judge, and a few others were shot, some being killed.
(this was not part of the article just thought I would add it.)
Now the manipulative bastards we call the government are blaming the Tea Partiers and Sarah Palin. How on the freaking Earth is it there fault in anyway shape or form. I just can't see how the government can blame them for what this psychotic moron did. What the fuck do you think? Tell me below.

Meanwhile, the leader of Westboro Baptist Church, an anti-gay Kansas-based church best known for picketing the funerals of slain U.S. soldiers and gay-pride gatherings, said its members will picket the funerals of the 9-year-old girl and five others killed in Saturday's attack. In a video, Fred Phelps says God sent the shooter to avenge the nation's sins.
"Thank God for the violent shooter," Phelps proclaims.
"We will remind the living that you can still repent and obey. This is ultimatum time with God."
Go fuck yourself, WBC.

Go fuck yourself, WBC.
When one thinks that killing a 9 year old is due to the issues sent by others and praises the killer, he has serious issues.

Now that is bullshit.
It almost pains me to say this but...How the hell could the Westboro Baptist Church stoop so low? That just pisses me off on so many levels.
Peace God

Of course, WBC is going. That's major attention right there. I actually think it's a good thing that they're going. (ask me why)

lol he's surprised that the WBC stoops so low
I'm not surprised at all by it. I had a gut feeling something would happen. Lo and behold, it has. WBC is just trying to get in on all the action, as always.

Maybe because Sarah Palin made a hitlist and took it down immediatly when the shooting happened? Don't go around pointing fingers with a blindfold. She could be fully responsible for this. I hope she is. Shut that fucking cunt up.

But I mean come on, a 9 year old kid was shot and killed, so it's a miracle?

I ain't even mad. WBC honestly doesn't surprise me anymore, even though their blatant stupidity and weakness is astonishing compared to the general population.
They're so egotistical.
I just like telling people to go fuck themselves.

Ok im sure they have reason to believe she could have ordered the hit (maybe) but to blame her without being able to definitely prove it is "pointing fingers with a blindfold". Don't you agree?

The evidence points at her. Wait, it's wrong to have suspects now? Derp.
And WBC is only doing this so they can get more attention. They're trying to make more people angry at them. Real life trolls at best. Although this might not be that bad of a thing; the more attention they get the more people will be angered by their messages, thus putting them in a worse state of getting to do what they do. Although, I feel like if they get banned for what they say, it could be a very bad thing for our amendment rights though.

The "hit list" was nothing more than a list of congressional seats Palin had picked out as being important districts for the Republicans to win in the election. I suspect she took it down out of respect to decency and good taste after such a tragedy. Don't get me wrong. Palin's an idiot. But she's not in any way responsible for this.

This whole situation is terrible. I can't watch the story on the news without tearing up. It is despicable the way people are politicizing the event and blaming others for it. Jon Stewart was right at the beginning of his show on 1/10/11. I'll post the link below.

God bless all those affected by the event. Hopefully the country can band together and heal in unity. <3

The guy was a member of a conspiracy/debate forum. It's not a site full of crazies, but rather a forum for intelligent discussion on controversial issues. He came in and made some impossibly stupid posts.
This thread is the best one, where he denies the existence of space shuttles. (http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread593100/pg1)
Thankfully, the site (Above Top Secret) has made all his posts (~130) public. Click here for more. (http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread649091/pg1)

If you think the country ever does anything in unity you don't know the first thing about the United States of America.

The only thing that every brought us even close to unity was 9/11, and even that was a good ways off.
Did anyone hear that the shooter was pulled over by police earlier that day, but released with a warning?

...That's why I said hopefully. It can't hurt to be realistic and optimistic at the same time. =-/
If a few people can put their differences aside and band together, then I will be happy. True, it's not the whole country banding together, but seeing good come from such a terrible event is a wonderful thing.

Obviously in a country of 300 million you'll always have dissenters. However I can think of at least one time that such an overwhelming majority was together you can say it was done in unity and that was the response to September 11th.

She didn't. She said that accusing conservatives of being the reason for this murder is blood libel, which, while it ignores the finer connotations of the word, is not inaccurate unless one has conclusive proof it was because of conservatives that the murder happened.

It's true by denotation, if not connotation. Yes, it has a deep history referring to a specific act, but it's factual definition is true here. While it may not have been the best word to use, it's not actually wrong. And I've been saying she's an idiot the whole time. Doesn't mean she's a bad person, or even any worse than our current VP.
