Have you ever eaten crawfish?

There at the top of almost everybody in Louisiana's favorite food list. Have you ever tried them? What did you think of them. The spell checker on this site doesn't even recognize the word! Wants to make it 2 words or spell it crayfish: but that's not the Louisiana spelling.

I've had Lobster, if that still counts. Personally I despise sea food of generally any kind. I could be inticed by chowder but only because it reminds me of chicken soup my granny used to make when I was ill.

I love Crawfish and Lobster! whenever i got to this Restaurant called Yats here(its a big cajun food place) i always get the Chili Cheese Etoufee(spelling?) w/ crawfish

I live in Louisiana, and yeah, crawfish are usually the 'hot' thing down here. I worked at a seafood restruant once, and holy crap did they bring loads in. My house is surrounded by feilds and crawfish ponds. When it rains, they all crawl out onto the road in huge masses.

Never tried em' though. I`m a vegetarien.

No, I haven't, but I have eaten lobster and brown crab which are close enough to it. But I'd like to try it once, I love shellfish! :D
